Hands-on experience with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
Passion for building scalable, secure, and efficient web applications
Ability to work primarily remote with onsite meetings 2-3 times per month in Orlando, FL or Austin, TX

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy scalable PHP-based web applications using the LAMP stack
Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring high performance and security
Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases, including writing efficient queries and stored procedures
Ensure data integrity, backups, and system reliability
Configure and manage Linux-based servers and Apache environments
Troubleshoot server and application performance issues
Write clean, reusable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices
Perform code reviews and implement improvements for maintainability and scalability
Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives
Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues in a timely manner
Provide technical support for deployed applications
Maintain clear and detailed documentation for code, database structures, and application processes
Contribute to technical design documents and specifications
