Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Pharmacy Technician-in-Training license required (or willingness to apply and obtain through the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy)
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Availability for 1st shift (6am to 4pm) or 2nd shift (4pm to 2am), working 4 days a week with 10-hour shifts, throughout the week based on production needs

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
  • Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring accurate medication intake
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to aseptic techniques
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting as needed
  • Work towards obtaining Pharmacy Technician Certification and License while gaining hands-on experience
  • Participate in a training program to become a Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • Maintain medication inventory and support facility operations
