Requirements
Candidates should possess a current enrollment in a Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent coursework, and demonstrate a strong understanding of pharmacy principles and practices. They must also be able to maintain confidentiality of information and documentation, and adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines.
Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern will assist with processing prescription and over-the-counter orders, stocking and securing pharmacy supplies, entering prescription information, and fulfilling prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and Company policies. They will provide customer service by assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving customer issues, and promoting products and services, while maintaining a safe shopping environment. Furthermore, the intern will contribute to maintaining the Pharmacy area by handling claims, zoning, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a safe work environment, and maintaining merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, and merchandising products.
