Requirements

Candidates must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy, with 0-3 years of relevant work experience and be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required. Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary, along with the ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and the ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and the ability to lift, scan, and bag items. Furthermore, candidates must possess finger dexterity, reach overhead, extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions, and have precision control, and be able to stoop to a considerable degree.

Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team, delivering care, modeling values, and demonstrating authentic care for patients, ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will contribute to patient care through adoption and management of patient care programs, lead with heart by displaying empathy and compassion, seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes, align others around the purpose, facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, and ensure a positive work environment.
