Requirements

Candidates must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy, and must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required. Applicants should have 0-3 years of relevant work experience and demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to complete required training, and the ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, be mobile, lift and scan items, possess finger dexterity, reach overhead, extend hands and arms, exhibit precision control, and stoop to a considerable degree.

Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Intern will lead with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for patients and colleagues, seek ways to grow and collaborate, facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, and contribute to patient health through the adoption and management of patient care programs. They will ensure a safe and effective pharmacy work environment, support the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional care, adhere to patient safety standards, and manage inventory and workflow (excluding final prescription verification).
