The role requires the ability to accurately interpret prescriptions and counsel customers on medication needs.
Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Grad Intern will ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations related to assigned areas, including analyzing reports and implementing controls. They will provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing prescriptions and counseling them on medication needs, while also maintaining confidential information and controlled medication procedures. The intern will accurately dictate prescriptions, maintain the Pharmacy area, receive and stock merchandise, and provide customer service by assisting customers with purchases and resolving issues. Furthermore, they will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of medication information, maintaining merchandise presentation, and upholding leadership expectations regarding respect for the individual.
