- Internship
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. Previous pharmacy, healthcare, or logistics experience is an asset, but not required. They should demonstrate a high level of accuracy in medication handling, labelling, and data entry, as well as clear, professional communication skills in English (written and verbal). Tech-savviness and comfort with pharmacy software, particularly Kroll, are strongly preferred.
The Pharmacy Assistant will accurately register patients, create and maintain patient profiles, and input prescription history into the pharmacy system. They will assist with the preparation, labelling, packaging, and shipment of prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, respond to inquiries from doctors and patients, and escalate clinical questions appropriately. Additionally, they will manage pharmacy inventory and packaging supplies, coordinate medication orders, ensure accurate documentation, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a clean and compliant work environment.
Online platform for telemedicine services
Felix provides an online platform that allows patients to receive medical treatment without needing to visit a doctor's office or pharmacy. The process involves three steps: patients fill out a health questionnaire, a healthcare practitioner from Felix's network creates a personalized treatment plan, and the prescribed medication is delivered directly to the patient's home in discreet packaging. This service is designed for those who prioritize convenience, privacy, and timely access to healthcare. Felix differentiates itself from competitors by emphasizing compassion and non-judgment in its approach, aiming to reduce stigma around seeking medical help. The goal of Felix is to make healthcare more accessible and supportive for all Canadians, as evidenced by the trust of over 500,000 users.
