Requirements

  • 3 years of managed care experience and/or 1 year of CVS Health or other Managed Care Residency program
  • Demonstrated understanding of drug utilization patterns and trends as it relates to the PBM industry
  • Valid pharmacist license in good standing
  • Experience supporting PBM or health plan clients
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, proficient analytical ability with effective listening & presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time as needed
  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy or Pharm D

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the clinical subject matter expert on the account team, both for current customers as well as prospect new business meeting opportunities
  • Providing clinical consulting services through analyzing drug utilization patterns and trends for Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) clients
  • Leveraging presentation skills by delivering quarterly and annual clinical insight reporting to customers, in partnership with the account owner
  • Educating clients on CVS Health’s clinical programs, and making strategic solution recommendations that meet client’s unique benefit plan needs
  • Updating client-specific clinical benefit elections
  • Partnering and serving as a liaison with internal teams and other clinicians supporting clinical programs on behalf of the client
