Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day activities related to fund accounting, reporting of open-ended core real estate funds administered both externally and internally
  • Liaise with third party fund administrator on items including, but not limited to cash, capital allocations, accruals and expense budgeting, financial statements, capital call drawdown notices, distributions, redemptions, and ad-hoc investor requests
  • Review quarterly estimates and final fund NAVs
  • Responsible for calculation of waterfall and incentive models
  • Manage the expense process and compliance with fund LPAs and firm policies
  • Responsible for financial deliverables associated with BX quarterly close
  • Responsible for production of quarterly and annual fund partnerships’ GAAP financial statements
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit
  • Review quarterly and annual financial regulatory reporting
  • Coordinate with internal audit to ensure SOX compliance
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams including Tax, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Legal & Compliance, Investor Client Services, FP&A, Technology, and Treasury
  • Responsible for management of offshore team
