Requirements

  • Active MD or DO licensure in good standing
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a primary care-related specialty
  • Licensure in at least 3–4 of the following MD-only states: South Carolina (SC), Tennessee (TN), Alabama (AL), Georgia (GA), Indiana (IN), Missouri (MO), Louisiana (LA), Mississippi (MS)
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience post-residency in a primary care setting
  • At least 6 months of telemedicine experience
  • Willingness to work ~1 hour/day, 5 days per week
  • Comfortable providing care synchronously via video
  • Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Strong diagnostic skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Skilled at using online tools and digital platforms to deliver care
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions through telemedicine
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic testing
  • Accurately document clinical encounters in the EMR system
  • Collaborate with care coordination and internal operations teams
  • Adhere to Vitable Health policies and complete required training
