Responsibilities

  • Provide integrated behavioral health care within a family medicine primary care office
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy (potential split position)
  • Work primarily with pediatric and adolescent patients on issues ranging from acute to chronic health conditions and other mental health concerns
  • Use evidence-based therapies like CBT, motivational interviewing, and brief targeted treatment
  • Conduct screens for depression, anxiety, and other conditions
  • Consult frequently with medical professionals
  • Be embedded within a family medicine office as an integral part of primary care teams
