Responsibilities
- Provide integrated behavioral health care within a family medicine primary care office
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy (potential split position)
- Work primarily with pediatric and adolescent patients on issues ranging from acute to chronic health conditions and other mental health concerns
- Use evidence-based therapies like CBT, motivational interviewing, and brief targeted treatment
- Conduct screens for depression, anxiety, and other conditions
- Consult frequently with medical professionals
- Be embedded within a family medicine office as an integral part of primary care teams
