Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, along with 6+ years’ experience as a paralegal supporting litigation or dispute resolution. They should have working knowledge of state and federal litigation procedure and standard contractual language, including terms and conditions. Prior experience handling litigation matters within a corporate environment and/or at a law firm is preferred.
The Litigation and Risk Paralegal will investigate and draft responses to escalated consumer complaints and regulatory inquiries, including letters to state attorneys general and departments of labor. They will also draft and maintain templates for dispute letters, develop and maintain processes for managing escalated disputes, assist with fact investigation for ongoing litigation and intellectual property issues, prepare and maintain electronic data for document production, and maintain electronic records of pre-litigation disputes and litigation matters within Angi’s matter management system.
