Real Estate Paralegal

Position Overview

ConnectOS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our client's team. Our client assists families and individuals in Garner, Raleigh, Cary, and surrounding North Carolina communities with their future planning needs. This role is fully remote and requires adherence to specific working hours.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Prior experience as a real estate paralegal is preferred.
• Software Proficiency:
  • CLIO Practice management software
  • Microsoft Office Suite
• Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to client service
• Knowledge: Knowledge of real estate law and related regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct title searches and review property records.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and deeds.
• Assist in the closing process, including organizing and coordinating closing documents.
• Manage and maintain client files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
• Coordinate with title companies and surveyors to resolve title issues.
• Assist attorneys in legal research and analysis.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling, filing, and document management.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
