Requirements

  • Willing to palletize boxes and plastic totes up to 7’ in height
  • Able to read and operate a hand-held scanner to log products into inventory
  • Willing to push, pull, carry, lift, and stack boxes of product up to 50 pounds
  • Able to use hands and arms above shoulder level, up to 7 feet in height
  • Able to visually inspect product for quality defects (e.g., coloring, broken trays, broken pallets, wrong labels)
  • Able and willing to visually separate and sort products based on numerical identifiers
  • Willing to walk, stand, and crouch consistently for 6-12 hours a day
  • Willing to work in a cold environment around 28 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson must have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment

Responsibilities

  • Palletizing boxes and plastic totes up to 7’ in height
  • Reading and operating a hand-held scanner to log products into inventory
  • Visually inspecting product for quality defects such as coloring, broken trays, broken pallets, wrong labels, etc
  • Visually separating and sorting products based on numerical identifiers
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
