Flexibility: available for training period, pre-shift meetings, weekends, and overtime as needed
Physical demands: move, twist, or lift up to 60 lbs (team lift 75 lbs), specific vision abilities (close, distance, peripheral, adjust focus), stand on feet for 12+ hours, keep up with fast repetitious pace and lifting
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Comfortable working with allergens, chemicals, extreme equipment and temperatures
Ability to use hand tools

Responsibilities

Run, change over, ensure efficiency and quality of 3-5 packaging machines
Communicate changes and plans to team members in immediate area and supervision
Perform required computer tasks at specific times throughout the shift
Set up and operate packaging equipment
Follow precise recipes and work procedures
Monitor and adjust variables
Perform product quality tests and data collection
React to direction from quality assurance and management personnel
