Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering, have at least 1-2 hands-on wet lab or lab-adjacent experiences (ideally in metal plating or fabricating devices), and possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering including Solidworks/Onshape and materials selection, plus hands-on prototyping experience.
Atomic Semi is building a small, fast semiconductor fab with a small team of exceptional, hands-on engineers across mechanical, electrical, hardware, computer, and process disciplines; they emphasize owning the stack from atoms to architecture, optimism about the future, pushing technology limits, and believing their team and lab can build anything.
Strong candidates have required hands-on lab experience and mechanical engineering foundations, plus nice-to-haves like experience in mechatronics, lasering, 3D printing, reliability testing, soldering, reflow testing, or nano-fabrication and metrology tools.
