Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age with high school education or GED required
Post-secondary education or formal technical training highly desirable
Must hold valid driver's license, good driving record, and be insurable under RHSHC insurance policy

Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Responsibilities

Responsible for safety of patients, visitors, staff, and facility
Monitors hospital for safety/security and investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances for follow-up actions
Uses hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments
May have responsibility for electrical equipment
Receives patients and visitors to Outpatient and Emergency Services
Responsible to complete quick registration process during shift and manage incoming phone calls
