Dialysis experience preferred, not required (will train)

Responsibilities

Functions as part of the hemodialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for assigned patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse
Participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care
Reports and documents all new or unusual incidents, information, complaints, or problems to the supervisor
Promotes and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment
Drives the FMCNA culture through values and customer service standards
Provides outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve, and follow up regarding customer service issues
Provides direct patient care for assigned patient(s)
Performs all technical aspects of dialysis procedures for assigned patients as prescribed
Administers and monitors treatments in accordance with current treatment plan or as directed by the supervisor
Monitors and documents dialysis treatment parameters on dialysis flow sheets
Documents other information related to the care of the patient in the individual patient record
