Requirements

Must have 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years
Cold storage experience preferred
Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 70lbs cases and occasionally up to 90lbs cases
Need full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance
May work with corrective lenses if vision problems
May be provided PPE for additional hearing protection as needed
Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening
Must be willing to work in a cold environment averaging 28°F with occasional 0°F (ranging from -10° to 30°F)
Must furnish own steel or composite toe boots conforming to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with slip resistant sole covering ankles (composite toe preferred)
Willing to work part-time Thurs-Mon shifts (up to 12 hours), any of shifts A,B,C,D,E,F as determined by business need

Responsibilities

Frequent stacking of cases onto pallets throughout the refrigerated warehouse using a lowboy forklift and RF scanner with system generated work lists
Stack cases of finished beef and pork products to build full pallets
Operate stand-up Crown PIT forklifts and reach trucks for extended times (up to 12 hours) in damp and cold environments
May be trained on cherry picker for additional tasks
Use handheld scanner to track products as loaded, unloaded, and moved around the facility
Move around work area at a fast pace, bend, squat, lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds (and up to 70-90lbs as required)
Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines
Willing to cross train and be moved to other areas as needed
Perform other duties assigned by management
