Must perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures
Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g. freezer, coolers, dry conditions)
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
Must frequently sit, walk, stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls
Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms
Ability to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned
Must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hour shifts as assigned
Monday - Sunday availability needed / 5-day work week
Responsibilities
Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products in specific quantities for delivery to customers by using order sheets or an audio headset
Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g. single and double pallet jacks)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist
Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products
Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages
Complete orders by selecting products from the warehouse racks and to assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders
