Requirements

Significant hands-on experience as a Database Administrator, with a solid focus on Oracle
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MSSQL, SYBASE, MariaDB, and MySQL
Strong SQL scripting and query optimization skills
Proven experience in performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
Good soft skills and a strong commitment to teamwork in a fast-paced environment
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certifications
Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is considered a plus
Familiarity with database monitoring tools and automation frameworks is considered a plus

Responsibilities

Perform advanced database performance tuning and optimization across Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and SYBASE environments
Provide expert-level support and guidance to internal DBA teams and external clients
Ensure high availability, security, and reliability of database systems
Monitor and analyze database performance metrics, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design scalable and efficient database solutions
As part of R&D team, analyze new features and new databases, how it can be implemented in our software product
Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities
Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures and FAQ
Maintaining and optimizing internal database environments
Reviewing DB related approaches designed by the application in-house developers
Troubleshoot complex performance issues across multiple database platforms
