Requirements

Must have 6 months industrial machine operator experience listed on application
Must have 6 months of continuous work history with 1 employer within the last 2 years
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Able to work in wet/humid conditions, around moving mechanical parts, high/precarious places, outside weather, risk of electrical shock, vibration, toxic/caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and loud noise
For Control Room Operator: Documented previous floor experience in multiple areas of a rendering facility
Meet Tyson rehire criteria: minimum 180-day waiting period and no more than 3 times previously worked at Tyson Foods
Available to work A Shifts (Sun-Wed 6am-6pm), B Shift (Sun-Wed 6pm-6am), or D Shift (Thu-Sun 6pm-6am); 4 days/nights on, 3 off

Responsibilities

Load all finished outgoing product, inspect trailers and tankers, collect samples, test samples, and complete/keep documents (Loadout Operator)
When not loading, work in production area as assigned by supervisor
Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through production process and proper use of ingredients/supplies (Machine Operator/Control Room Operator)
Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed; notify supervisor if maintenance required
Monitor product throughout processing phase and maintain communication with production team for equipment adjustments (Control Room Operator)
Operate computer PLCs (Control Room Operator)
Maintain safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
