Requirements

Ability to operate automatic and/or semi-automatic manufacturing machinery
Knowledge of operational parameters, procedures, specifications, safety, and environmental regulations
Skills in inspecting, packing, and documenting materials per plant procedures
Capability to perform set-ups for code changes following equipment manuals and product specifications
Experience with routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance (e.g., cleaning, greasing, lubrication)
Familiarity with documentation systems (manual like Checker Chart, electronic like POMS, MMS 3)
Understanding of production standards (e.g., production, scrap, downtime, changeover time)
Ability to identify and report machine conditions affecting performance
Participation in process improvement activities with Automation, Process Engineering, and Quality teams
Commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) reporting and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Operate automatic and/or semi-automatic manufacturing machinery within established parameters
Monitor manufacturing processes and electromechanical control panels, making adjustments or repairs as needed
Notify of machine or equipment conditions that could affect performance
Supply materials to assigned machines
Inspect, pack, and document materials per plant procedures
Coordinate and monitor material usage in department areas
Perform set-ups for code changes following manuals, specifications, and procedures
Meet operational standards such as production, scrap, downtime, and changeover time
Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance including cleaning, greasing, and lubrication
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) per SOP timelines
Maintain and secure provided tools
Participate in process analysis and improvement with relevant teams (e.g., meetings, activities, documentation)
Document required information (parameters, lots, production) manually or electronically
Maintain records of production, downtime, setup time, and other indicators for productivity monitoring
Inspect materials and products to detect/prevent defects
Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards; participate in initiatives like 5S
Report health/safety hazards, environmental aspects, incidents, risks, and opportunities in EHS system
Participate in EHS system development, planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement
Cover breaks for Assemblers and Mechanics as required
