Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Communicate efficiently in English, both verbal and written
Understand and perform basic math
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (around 10 hours a day)
Ability to use push/pull force of up to 80 lbs
Ability to lift product up to 50 lbs
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
Compliance with cleanroom requirements: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc
Ability to work in environment with loud noises, strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products), hazardous/toxic materials, and standing for full shift
Wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.) when needed

Responsibilities

Follow all written procedures (SOP’s, DHR’s, etc.) and report discrepancies to the Area Supervisor
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when needed, referring to job specific job Safety Analysis
Perform all work activities in a safe manner and maintain a safe and clutter-free work area; clean up all spills immediately
Listen to, follow, and relay written and verbal instructions in English
Report property damage and/or safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist, or Senior Management immediately
Document accurately, check personal work for quality and compliance, and continuously supervise product for defects
Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery, perform simple maintenance, make necessary adjustments, and report malfunctioning equipment immediately to Supervisor or Lead
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including all assigned equipment
Read, understand, and complete required documentation accurately and neatly in accordance with established policies and procedures
Set up and adjust machine to operate a variety of sizes and types using tools to adjust machine
Actively engage in making suggestions for process improvement and encourage an atmosphere of partnership
Carry out the production process by closely following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work Instruction Documents related to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods' packaging
