Requirements

  • MBO level 3-4 in the field of process operator, (precision) mechanical engineering, or similar
  • Experience in a production environment and affinity for precision mechanics
  • Proficiency in English
  • Tech savvy, affinity for ICT
  • Experience training others is a plus
  • Results-oriented, flexible, and resourceful
  • Enjoys variety and change yet maintains focus on planning and quality standards
  • Careful and accurate
  • Sense of responsibility, notices what's unusual, eager to go the extra mile
  • Physical ability to perform the job requirements

Responsibilities

  • Setting up, managing, and monitoring materials, tools, and production equipment
  • Resolving minor malfunctions and operating the production equipment
  • Perform production tasks (such as assembling instruments)
  • Overseeing safety and continuously monitoring process flow
  • Identify and communicate about production bottlenecks and identify product deviations
  • Liaise with development engineers regarding product and/or production changes
  • Provide input to engineers for process development, improvement, and assurance using production knowledge and experience
  • Other duties may be assigned
