2-4 years of material planning experience in manufacturing environment
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with inventory management and material planning systems
Technical Skills: MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on production forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent stockouts while optimizing working capital
Analyze material usage trends and collaborate with production control and process engineering to improve forecast accuracy
Create and release purchase requisitions according to lead times and production schedules
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely material availability and on-time delivery of materials and components
Generate and analyze material requirement forecasts based on production plans
Track and report material-related metrics and KPIs
Participate in supply chain and material planning improvement and optimization initiatives
Identify opportunities and support cost reduction and process improvement efforts through efficient material planning
Identify and resolve material shortages through expediting, substitutions, or production schedule adjustments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, finance, development, quality, and logistics teams
Maintain accurate material master data in enterprise systems
Responsible for ISO, BCMS, SOX compliance
