Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at time of application, or graduated in the semester immediately preceding the internship start
- Minimum sophomore status (rising juniors, rising seniors, or graduate students preferred)
- Pursuing degree in Business Administration, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, Communication, Architecture, or similar fields
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at time of application or graduation (preferred)
- Curious and coachable, personable, and patient
Responsibilities
- Participate in month-end accounting close process
- Facilitate the recording of general monthly journal entries
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, including cash, accounts receivable, prepaids, and accruals
- Perform review of budgeted house cost versus actual house cost
- Prepare house closing journal entries, recognizing revenue and cost of sales, and relieving house inventory
