Position Overview

• Location Type: Remote
• Employment Type: 1099 Contractor
• Salary: Starting at $80 - $85 per session (varies by state)

Headspace is seeking part-time, independently licensed contractor therapists to provide direct, virtual care as part of a multidisciplinary team. This role is currently open to providers licensed in NORTH CAROLINA. Contractor therapists are asked to offer a minimum of 5 sessions/week, with the flexibility to offer additional sessions when needed.

Important Notes:

• Due to care demand and member scheduling fluctuations, it could take a number of weeks to achieve a consistent schedule.
• All Headspace therapists must be licensed and reside in the US.
• All work must be provided in the U.S. (50 states, excluding U.S. territories).
• Personal health information may not be accessed, disclosed, or used outside of the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, innovative, tele-therapy to Headspace patients over a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.
• Complete, sign, and lock clinical case notes in EMR within 48 hours of session. Note completion is part of the session rate.
• Maintain your personalized database to record proof of licensure, license updates, expiration dates, personal information, etc.
• Keep your availability calendar up to date.
• Stay in regular communication with clinical leadership, checking work emails in a timely fashion and responding within 24 hours, even if not working.
• Work with a collaborative care team including health coaches, other therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

Requirements

• Available to offer at least 5 sessions per week, with the ability to flex up when needed.
• Night and weekend flexibility is a plus.
• Licensed in NORTH CAROLINA.
• Reside in the US.
