Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in NLP, AI software development, or a related role
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and relevant AI libraries/frameworks for working with language (e.g. Langchain, Pydantic AI, Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and design patterns
  • Data sciences experiences, preferably for linguistics: data annotation, guideline design, and data quality evaluation
  • Proven ability to integrate ML models into production environments and experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex linguistic and technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
  • Familiarity with data annotation tools and techniques is a plus
  • Experience with data quality evaluation and guideline design is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable natural language processing (NLP) in agnostic AI systems
  • Recognize NLP tasks and define clear evaluation guidelines
  • Select the best technologies to solve complex problems and integrate them seamlessly into larger software applications
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate project requirements into technical solutions
  • Enhance relationships with senior partners by adapting communication styles and advising on complex matters
  • Take theoretical ideas from linguistics and implement them as practical, innovative text analytics and AI-driven features
