Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in enterprise or data center network engineering
Proven expertise in Cisco Nexus platforms, ACI, Arista, or Juniper technologies
Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 technologies, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), and multicast
Experience with load balancing (F5 Load Balancer) and firewalls (F5, Fortinet)
Familiarity with network automation frameworks and CI/CD workflows
Certifications (Preferred): CCNP/CCIE (Data Center or Enterprise) or equivalent
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead projects independently and mentor junior engineers
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Commitment to operational excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-availability data center network architectures, including core, aggregation, and access layers, using modern design principles (leaf-spine, EVPN/VXLAN, etc.)
Deploy, configure, and support switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers across multiple data centers
Leverage network automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Git) to streamline configuration management, change validation, and deployment processes
Utilize observability tools to monitor performance, analyze trends, and proactively resolve complex network issues
Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to design network solutions that meet business requirements
Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and runbooks
Manage hardware/software lifecycle and coordinate upgrades or replacements for end-of-life devices
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and industry best practices
