Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise or data center network engineering
  • Proven expertise in Cisco Nexus platforms, ACI, Arista, or Juniper technologies
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 technologies, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), and multicast
  • Experience with load balancing (F5 Load Balancer) and firewalls (F5, Fortinet)
  • Familiarity with network automation frameworks and CI/CD workflows
  • Certifications (Preferred): CCNP/CCIE (Data Center or Enterprise) or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead projects independently and mentor junior engineers
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Commitment to operational excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement
  • Skills: Arista Switches, Cisco Nexus Switches, Juniper Switches, Network Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-availability data center network architectures, including core, aggregation, and access layers, using modern design principles (leaf-spine, EVPN/VXLAN, etc.)
  • Deploy, configure, and support switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers across multiple data centers
  • Leverage network automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Git) to streamline configuration management, change validation, and deployment processes
  • Utilize observability tools to monitor performance, analyze trends, and proactively resolve complex network issues
  • Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to design network solutions that meet business requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and runbooks
  • Manage hardware/software lifecycle and coordinate upgrades or replacements for end-of-life devices
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and industry best practices
