Requirements

Exceptional engineering skills in creating simple solutions to complex problems
Proficiency in backend development, including Java, Python, or Node.js for data transformations, caching layers, and background jobs
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services managing full lifecycle of SEO pages
Ability to build and expose robust APIs handling shopping page data for downstream consumers (frontend rendering, SEO crawlers, analytics)
Skills in integrating SEO metadata, taxonomy updates, and internal linking rules into data models and processing pipelines
Expertise in developing automated workflows to ingest, validate, and synchronize page information from catalog feeds, vendor systems, and content management tools
Knowledge of monitoring service performance, setting up alerts for latency or error spikes, and troubleshooting for high availability and data accuracy
Experience ensuring data integrity through schema validations, consistency checks, and versioning strategies
Ability to collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams for automating deployments, managing containerized environments, and optimizing resource utilization
Capability to write clean, well-documented code and maintain comprehensive documentation for service architecture, API contracts, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures

Responsibilities

Take an active part in engineering tasks involving backend services, APIs, integrations, automated workflows, monitoring, data integrity, collaboration, coding, and documentation
