Requirements
- Competence to perform venipuncture
- Availability for per diem day shift hours Sat/Sun at Voorhees and Marlton as needed
- One-year commitment required
Responsibilities
- Consistently performs high-quality MRI studies according to protocols established by the Radiologists
- Films all MRI exams utilizing proper window and level
- Follows protocol for room set-up, obtains patient assessment form and injection procedures
- Demonstrates competence to perform venipuncture and follows established protocols for administering contrast medium
- Verifies order and patient identification before performing MRI exam
- Screens all patients for medical appropriateness of MRI procedure as well as for potential projectiles before entrance into the exam room
- Ensures patient assessment form is completed and validated before patient enters MRI room
- Provides superior customer service to patients and personnel
- Effectively communicates with all customers; displays high degree of tact and diplomacy and maintains supportive relationships
- Follows established procedures and protocols
- Operates MRI equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following appropriate safety guidelines
