Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment and have a demonstrated ability to work on a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make decisions quickly and calmly in emergency situations
- Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis
- Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting and speaking on a constant basis
- Timeliness and reliability are essential. Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate all radio transmissions
- Communicate operations for Ski Patrol, Lift Operations, and Lift Maintenance personnel
- Coordinate responses to mountain emergencies, including ski accidents, lift failures, and weather conditions
- Record and announce all lift openings, closings, delays and service interruptions
- Coordinate dissemination of information affecting normal daily Mountain Operations
