Candidates should have experience testing mobile applications, including functional, non-functional, UI, and compatibility testing. Experience with Android and iOS platforms is required, along with an understanding of various QA testing types like functional, integration, regression, UAT, and release management. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is necessary, as is familiarity with GitHub, Azure, or other repositories. Experience with automated mobile testing frameworks and tools like Appium is also required.
The Mobile QA Engineer will monitor new features and ensure their proper functioning through manual acceptance testing and the design, development, and execution of reusable automated scripts. They will leverage their expertise to accelerate bug resolution, participate in finding and implementing solutions for improving existing automated scripts, and conduct tests at all stages of software development to maintain quality standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with the QA team, development team, and product managers to deliver high-quality software on time, participating in continuous improvement processes, reporting issues on Jira, documenting bugs, writing automated test cases, tracking software defects, and analyzing product environments and interdependencies to apply appropriate testing methodologies.
