Requirements

Candidates must have an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. They should possess at least 5 years of experience in machine learning, specifically in building production-ready systems. Proficiency in Python and strong experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is required. Experience in deploying and scaling AI/ML models using cloud services like AWS or GCP is essential. Strong expertise in agent architectures, reinforcement learning, or systems built on LLMs is needed, along with familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation techniques and integration of external knowledge bases or APIs. Candidates should also have experience with search and retrieval systems, including vector embeddings, graph databases, and Elasticsearch. An interest in the construction industry is necessary, with bonus qualifications including specialized expertise in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, or Speech Processing, as well as experience with training or fine-tuning proprietary algorithms.

Responsibilities

The ML Engineer will develop and deploy AI agents to solve real-world problems in the construction industry. They will design and implement robust systems incorporating human-in-the-loop feedback mechanisms to enhance AI agent decision-making and ensure reliable interactions. The role involves creating and optimizing pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and scaling in production environments. The engineer will identify and model relationships between entities within and across different document types, enhance retrieval-augmented generation systems for context-aware AI agent responses, and design experiments to evaluate and improve model and agent performance in real-world scenarios. Staying updated with the latest advancements in LLMs, reinforcement learning, agentic workflows, and multi-modal systems to enhance AI agent performance is also a key responsibility.
