Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, physics, math or related discipline or 3+ years professional experience in object-oriented software development, test and continuous integration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Python and C++
  • Located near Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA (hybrid work environment with some on-site work required)

Responsibilities

  • Architect & implement improvements to mission test & analysis pipelines to increase velocity of engineering design iteration and drive down cycle time
  • Perform workflow analysis across the engineering team and implement streamlining solutions
  • Work independently to collaborate with a wide set of stakeholders to ensure subsystem engineers have the data needed to make design decisions
  • Construct & adapt data input structures to improve the ability to simulate different vehicle configurations and mission baselines simultaneously
  • Improve simulation capabilities to increase fidelity of software in the loop simulation
  • Implement analysis products to organize and visualize data created from analysis tools and software in the loop simulation
  • Implement automated constraint checking to rapidly flag issues across sim environments
  • Interface with other software disciplines across the company to define, architect and build interfaces to flight and ground software systems
