Requirements

At least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a relevant field
At least 5 years of experience in software
Previous experience with embedded systems/software and functions is essential
High voltage power electronics experience is beneficial, but not mandatory
Knowledge of AUTOSAR and ISO26262 is preferred
Matlab/Simulink experience is required
Knowledge of C languages is essential
Experience working with a V-model based process environment (preferably ASPICE) is required
Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills are required
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Fluency in English is required

Responsibilities

Perform analysis of software requirements
Perform software design
Generate software code for real-time embedded systems either by manual coding, configuration of AUTOSAR modules, or auto coding of SIMULINK models
Perform software verification on test bench and vehicle
Generate software documentation: design, test plans, test results
Provide software development support to BorgWarner and customers on test trips
Work along with other BorgWarner engineers to ensure that program goals are met, schedules are maintained, and problems encountered during the development process are satisfactorily resolved
