Requirements

Degree in Microbiology, Biology or strongly related scientific field
1 year of laboratory work experience
Experience in microbiological techniques such as bioburden testing, endotoxin testing, growth promotion testing, identification of microorganisms and environmental monitoring (advantage)
Knowledge of general principles of preparation of documentation (advantage)
Knowledge of quality management standards (advantage)
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and good laboratory practices (advantage)
Basic proficiencies in digital literacy such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
English language skills
Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc.)

Responsibilities

Perform quality control microbiological testing of raw materials, incoming goods, intermediates, and/or finished products under GMP conditions for QC release or as part of stability studies
Perform monitoring for the facility’s utility systems
Support equipment and utility qualification
Support method transfer/verification/validation for new product introduction
Perform periodic reviews of laboratory documents
Lead microbiological inventory required for testing
Carry out any other tasks required by reporting Manager
