Requirements

  • Degree in Microbiology, Biology or strongly related scientific field
  • 1 year of laboratory work experience
  • Experience in microbiological techniques such as bioburden testing, endotoxin testing, growth promotion testing, identification of microorganisms and environmental monitoring (advantage)
  • Knowledge of general principles of preparation of documentation (advantage)
  • Knowledge of quality management standards (advantage)
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and good laboratory practices (advantage)
  • Basic proficiencies in digital literacy such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • English language skills
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control microbiological testing of raw materials, incoming goods, intermediates, and/or finished products under GMP conditions for QC release or as part of stability studies
  • Perform monitoring for the facility’s utility systems
  • Support equipment and utility qualification
  • Support method transfer/verification/validation for new product introduction
  • Perform periodic reviews of laboratory documents
  • Lead microbiological inventory required for testing
  • Carry out any other tasks required by reporting Manager
