Responsibilities
- Promptly unload trucks
- Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store
- Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong team and communicate with team members
- Demonstrate knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation/maintenance/sanitization
- Prepare meat products (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to standards; cut boneless meat products; maintain product quality standards
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- Ensure operational excellence, maintain work area per company policies, ensure quality and date control for meat products, secure fragile/high-shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, properly package/label/store merchandise
- Advocate for the department/club by valuing member experience in meat area, model high-quality service/products, execute basics at highest quality level, exhibit energy/commitment/passion
- Comply with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics/integrity; implement action plans, use Open Door Policy
- Complete work assignments/priorities using policies, data, resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers
