Requirements

  • Background in medical writing, particularly for HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) purposes
  • Experience with writing tasks in HEOR projects, including EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) dossiers, HTA dossiers (e.g., NICE, SMC, NCPE), global value dossiers, protocols and reports for literature reviews, evidence synthesis, health economic modelling studies, peer-review manuscripts, and conference abstracts
  • Good understanding of matrix structures in the pharmaceutical industry and ability to navigate them to achieve client aims
  • Proven success in communicating scientific information strategically to optimize product access to markets and reimbursement
  • Qualifications and skills from disciplines such as health economics, statistics, biochemistry, or epidemiology (implied from team composition)

Responsibilities

  • Support the EMEA Health Economics team as a Consultant Medical Writer within the HTA Evidence & Strategy Centre of Excellence and Value Communications Centre of Excellence
  • Perform medical writing tasks within HEOR projects
  • Co-manage small workstreams, project tasks, and thought leadership initiatives with a senior team
  • Work in cross-functional and cross-country project teams, providing medical writing support
  • Undertake quality control on project deliverables
  • Contribute to the management of project delivery, including guiding the work of more junior team members
  • Support business development opportunities by exposure to EMEA RWS offerings in value communications, HTA strategy, and HEOR
