Requirements

  • PharmD, PhD, or MD with 2+ years relevant neurology, immunology and/or neuromuscular experience
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience (clinical or industry)

  • Ability to travel primarily throughout assigned geography (Washington D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, & Delaware), with infrequent travel outside; estimated at 60%

Responsibilities

  • Provide fair balanced, objective, scientific information, and education to opinion leaders (OLs), health care professionals, and internal partners as required by scientific and business needs
  • Serve as an established scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products per Therapeutic Area (TA) alignment
  • Stay abreast of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in therapeutic areas of interest
  • Provide research support for company and investigator-initiated research
  • Build external relationships with identified KOLs and health care providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., bio coordinators) and develop and manage a geographical territory (virtual & in-person, prioritizing in-person when appropriate)
  • Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan, including educational activities with identified OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices
  • Rapidly identify and compliantly collaborate with field-based partners to ensure support of Healthcare Providers impacting patients
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines
  • Consistently demonstrate strategic territory planning and ability to build strong relationships within the territory
  • Consistently demonstrate strong scientific acumen
  • Continuously support Department Operations and Internal Partners
  • Function with high integrity and follow credo values
