Requirements

  • Field-based position located in the South-Central region, preferably Dallas, TX or Houston, TX area (territory covers Texas, OK, New Mexico)
  • Established scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products per Therapeutic Area (TA) alignment, particularly in Immunology and Autoantibody Pipeline
  • Competency and experience in the disease state
  • Foundational competencies in Influence & Results Focused, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Product & Therapeutic Area Knowledge, and Data Insights & Dissemination
  • Skills in agility, Change Management, Time Management, and Innovation
  • Ability to function with high integrity and follow credo values
  • Willingness to travel primarily throughout assigned geography (field-based clinical position), with infrequent travel outside geography

Responsibilities

  • Provide fair balanced, objective, scientific information and education to opinion leaders (OLs), health care professionals, and internal partners as required by scientific and business needs
  • Stay abreast of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in therapeutic areas of interest
  • Provide research support for company and investigator-initiated research
  • Build external relationships with identified OLs and health care providers (MD, DO, PhD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., bio coordinators) and develop and manage a geographical territory (virtual & in-person engagements, prioritizing in-person when appropriate)
  • Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan, including educational activities with identified OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices
  • Rapidly identify and compliantly collaborate with field-based partners to ensure support of Healthcare Providers and positive impact on patients
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines
