Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific and clinical knowledge to leading researchers and practitioners (SEs/CEs) that addresses their needs, such as clinical care gaps, nuanced clinical or research questions
  • Establish oneself as a reliable, trusted resource of unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical and scientific information through scientific exchange
  • Act as primary interface between Lilly Medical and SEs/CEs, delivering positive experiences, supporting HCPs in sharing evidence, and addressing clinical care gaps for improved patient outcomes
  • Connect SEs/CEs with other Lilly resources or internal business partners and facilitate collaborative research opportunities
  • Partner with clinical development to support studies and investigators, delivering disease state and scientific information for site identification, selection, and recruitment to accelerate pipeline and evidence generation
  • Recognize and communicate feedback and insights of strategic importance from interactions with SEs/CEs to inform Lilly’s strategic direction for research, development, and commercialization
  • Analyze customer data, plan, prioritize, and engage assigned SEs/CEs effectively through face-to-face and virtual interactions
  • Implement strategic territory plans prioritizing core MSL activities, leverage analytical tools, and assume accountability for performance expectations
