Requirements

  • Currently studying for a degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Production/Manufacturing Engineering discipline
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visa)
  • As a minimum, must be a British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Capable of achieving required medical and national security clearance, including undergoing HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

  • Undertake and manage design and performance trade-off studies
  • Work on the design and delivery of subsystems into the project (e.g., Data links, Actuation systems, Telemetry Units)
  • Assist with trials and testing of components and missiles during the development phase
  • Work on allocated projects at any stage of the lifecycle, collaborating with various people and departments within MBDA to achieve successful delivery
