Requirements

  • U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum (due to export control laws)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive machine design experience, including custom tooling, automation elements, robotics, sensors, and servo systems
  • 5+ years using SolidWorks for modeling, assemblies, and machine design
  • Experience with SolidWorks FEA/CFD tools

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and complete engineering projects ranging from single-machine design to multi-disciplinary automation systems
  • Act as a technical specialist, applying advanced engineering theories, design principles, and guidelines
  • Work independently to research challenges, develop innovative solutions, and ensure engineering accuracy
  • Engage in and contribute to HSE initiatives, encouraging safety-first decisions during both development processes and on-site operations
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies
  • Prepare multi-disciplinary proposals, cost estimates, and risk assessments
  • Develop detailed project plans and maintain schedules using project management tools
  • Participate in client meetings and internal design reviews to ensure technical alignment and quality
  • Create and maintain design standards, perform engineering calculations, and oversee drawing sets
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding organizational needs and key decision drivers
  • Support business development efforts, including technical input for proposals and capabilities discussions
  • Travel occasionally to client sites, fabrication shops, and project locations as needed
