Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or Physics; 2+ years of experience in mechanical and electromechanical system design; experience with automation or integration including system design, electrical work, and programming; and experience with microcontrollers and/or industrial PLCs.
Atomic Semi builds a small team of exceptional, hands-on engineers across mechanical, electrical, hardware, computer, and process fields. The team is optimistic, believes they can build anything, and focuses on iterating quickly with in-house tools like 3D printers and fabrication equipment.
Strong candidates have the required degree and experience, plus nice-to-haves like a Master’s degree, 5+ years of experience, home workshop/lab experience, and skills in custom computer vision, embedded systems, or multi-domain system integration.
Compact semiconductor fabrication facility development
