Educational foundation (e.g., degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, as indicated by "Educational Found")

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the design of complex modular buildings and metal enclosures; develop comprehensive specification sheets, intricate bills of materials, detailed assembly instructions, and other critical fabrication documents
Ensure all product designs comply with complex regulatory requirements, commercial codes, customer specifications, advanced engineering standards, and company practices and procedures; provide guidance to less experienced engineers
Take ownership of the accurate and timely processing of complex shop drawings, product submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, and record all as-built drawings
Contribute to thorough model reviews and drawing checks as part of the engineering design release process, serving as a primary point of quality assurance and technical approval
Contribute to Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) and Design for Excellence (DFx) reviews, focusing on cost reduction strategies and enhancing manufacturing cost and efficiency
Independently execute and manage complex Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), identifying impacts and coordinating changes
Collaborate strategically and lead initiatives with Sales, Project Management, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to support customer inquiries, resolve problems, and foster solutions
Proactively identify, propose, and implement improvements to design procedures, processes, and methods, enhancing safety, quality, and efficiency
