Responsibilities

Take on mechanical design and development of complex electro-mechanical systems
Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software for manufacturing and assembly
Develop prototypes and conduct testing/validation procedures
Collaborate with electrical and software engineers on integrated solutions
Develop solutions from initial conceptual direction with minimal guidance
Support research staff by implementing hardware changes
