Requirements

  • Expertise in commissioning mission-critical mechanical equipment, start-up, and testing in data centers or building environments
  • Ability to develop mechanical equipment and system test scripts
  • Experience attending and participating in customer equipment FWT/FAT (Factory Witness Test/Factory Acceptance Test)
  • Skills in vendor coordination and management
  • Capability to perform equipment inspections to verify adherence to vendor submittals
  • Proficiency in providing test documentation confirming proper delivery, installation, testing, and functionality of equipment
  • Knowledge to support and perform design specification reviews, manufacturer submittals, schematic drawing sets, and project schedule documentation

  • Ability to assign test commissioning tasks to a mechanical commissioning team
  • Competence in executing test scripts to confirm equipment and system operation per design specifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical equipment and system test scripts
  • Attend and actively participate in customer equipment FWT/FAT
  • Coordinate and manage vendors
  • Perform equipment inspections to ensure build adherence to vendor submittals
  • Provide test and documentation that equipment is delivered, installed, tested correctly, and set to function properly
  • Support and perform design specification reviews, manufacturer submittals, schematic drawing sets, and project schedule documentation
  • Conduct QA/QC of mechanical equipment installation/start-up
  • Assign test commissioning tasks to the mechanical commissioning team
  • Execute test scripts to confirm equipment and system operation to design specifications
