Responsibilities

  • Supervise the meat department team to deliver on the business plan, communicate goals, execute programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and company
  • Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets member expectations
  • Maintain meat department standards for quality, inventory, production, equipment, safety, sanitation, and compliance
  • Share knowledge, prioritize training on item specifications and equipment usage for high-volume products
  • Engage with members, share product passion, and assist in protein selections
  • Leverage digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • Use handheld technology for immediate decisions on production, training, and product quality; adopt and encourage new tools
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, neat/clean/safe work area, digital forecasting/planning/production, inventory/ordering, staffing, audits, compliance, and equipment maintenance
  • Produce and display merchandise per layout plan
  • Identify training needs, teach/develop skills for high-quality products, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs; analyze/apply information, monitor progress, and address improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; implement action plans and assist with corrections
